Die Arbeit reading gaps ist eine Reflexion über den Umgang mit Erzählformen, Berichterstattung, Anarchismus und Erinnerung in der ehemals pluralistischen und revolutionären polnischen Stadt Bialystok. Ausgangspunkt der Arbeit ist das Pogrom 1906
an der jüdischen Bevölkerung in Bialystok und der Form der Darstellung in Internationalen Zeitungen. Die Arbeit zeigt, wie sich die Erzählgeschichte verändert: Von der ersten Nachricht, die den Auslöser des Pogroms in Verbindung mit einem Anschlag eines Anarchisten setzte - er warf angeblich eine Bombe in eine christliche Prozession - bis zum Argument, dass es sich um einen geplanten Angriff handelte, welcher von Streitkräften der russischen Staaten mitorganisiert bzw. darüber hinweggesehen wurde. Erzählweisen und Darstellungen des Pogroms stehen im Mittelpunkt der Arbeit und korrelieren mit Filmausschnitten über historische und gegenwärtige anarchistische Erzählungen sowie der Bewegung in Bialystok und Umgebung.

The work reading gaps is a reflection on the handling of narrative forms, reporting, anarchism and memory in the formerly pluralistic and revolutionary Polish city of Bialystok. The starting point of the work is the 1906 pogrom on the Jewish population in Bialystok and the form of its representation in international newspapers. The work shows how the narrative changes: From the first news that linked the trigger of the pogrom to an attack by an anarchist - he allegedly threw a bomb into a Christian procession - to the argument that it was a planned attack, which was co-organised or overlooked by forces of the Russian states. Narratives and representations of the pogrom are the focus of the work and correlate with film clips of historical and contemporary anarchist narratives and the movement in Bialystok and its surroundings.
